Tyson Confuses Buyer's Name with His Offer: 50 Cent picks up Mike Tyson's house for pennies
50 Cent, one of the biggest names on the hip-hop scene of late, recently purchased Mike Tyson's 48,000 square foot mansion for just $4.1 million.
50 Cent, one of the biggest names on the hip-hop scene of late, recently purchased Mike Tyson's 48,000 square foot mansion for just $4.1 million. It appears that the gunshot wounds to the head have served only to sharpen 50 Cent's financial instincts as he managed to finagle a reasonable deal out of the former Mrs. Tyson by saving a mere $20.9 million off the one-time asking price of $25 million.
Tyson, the much-maligned boxer is experiencing serious financial trouble, despite having grossed over $300 million from his various prize fights. How any human being can earn enough money to be able to buy a professional sports team and then manage to squander the money to the point of filing for bankruptcy exhibits financial stupidity and mismanagement beyond all possible realms of comprehension. Perhaps one reason why Tyson has fallen on hard financial times was his propensity for living in "style."
50 Cent's new home includes 52 rooms, 39 bathrooms, a racquetball court, 7 kitchens, a theater, elevator, 5 Jacuzzis, 2 billiard rooms, a boathouse, and 17 acres of land with a waterfall. What use Mike Tyson had for so many rooms is questionable, as probably fewer than 20 people in the entire world would be willing to sleep within ten miles of the former boxing legend and present boxing travesty. Whether 50 Cent can find a use for all of those rooms remains to be seen. While Tyson may have been hit one too many times in the head, 50 Cent has been stabbed, shot 9 times, and according to news sources, seems to harbor considerable angst against certain other rappers.
Citizens of Farmington, Connecticut, 50 Cent's new hometown, must have been thrilled to learn of Tyson's departure when he signed the house over to his former wife. However, in a matter of months Tyson has been replaced by a man who attracts bullets like college students to free give-aways. While 50's presence in Connecticut has probably served to double the gang activity in the entire state, his fellow citizens can at least take solace in the fact that 50 Cent has not yet threatened to eat any children, one of Mike Tyson's more notable quotes.
Don't bite off someone's ear. We just saved you $3 million and could have done the same if only Mike had hired us. Also, if you're in the market for a pet tiger, we hear Mike is offering one steal of a deal.
