Oh My Pumpkin

By Brandon Goldner on October 21st, 2009 • Holidays, Life, Stats

It’s fall. Begrudgingly we must accept that summer is over. With the absence of that large orange sun comes the revival of those large orange squash that we know and love. You know what I’m talkin’ about. Oh yeah…it’s pumpkin time!

By Lauren Sigel on September 2nd, 2009 • Healthcare, Stats, Life

Find Your Own Stats

By Jens Odegaard on August 26th, 2009 • Stats, Life

Instead of highlighting one single stat this week, I thought, "why not tell my data-deprived readers how to feed their own stat hunger?" I'm Falling For Debt

By Jens Odegaard on April 1st, 2009 • Debt, Stats, Credit & Debt

That's right, a statistic has caught my eye and I can't turn away. It's standing over there in the corner batting its eyelashes at me. I can't wait to meet it.

Inauguration Day: 1 President, 5,000 port-a-potties

By Erin Flesch on January 21st, 2009 • Government, News, Stats, Life

Yesterday's inauguration has provided us with an abundance of material, so get ready for an extra stat-arific Wednesday.

The swearing in of our new president went down without a hitch--save for a slightly mangled oath (proof that even Obama can make an oratory misstep).

If you were not one of the estimated 1.8 million people in attendance at the inauguration on Tuesday, here are some stats to give you a better feeling of how it all went down:
