I dropped another external hard drive. Suffice it to say that my next hard drive purchase will probably be a laptop drive--something marginally more sturdy. Thank goodness I have an emergency backup for my most important files.

Free Money For Online Purchases, Literally!

We've all heard it: Money doesn't grow on trees. Well, apparently Ebates.com has developed some hybrid seedling that sprouts dollars and change, because through this site money is actually free.

I just heard about this site, so I feel the need to share it with fellow online and in-store shoppers who haven't yet boarded the bandwagon.

Black Friday

This week culminates in Black Friday--the day when Americans wake up at the crack of dawn and work themselves into a frothy retail frenzy because of great deals. A quick word of advice: it's not a deal if you don't need the product or can't afford it. Buying a "deal" on a credit card isn't worth it if you don't pay off the balance before interest accrues.
